Game development engines like Unity, Unreal Engine, A-Frame, and others are unexpectedly becoming some of the most important software of the early 20th century. Virtual reality, augmented reality, and games–all of which are built with game engines–are slowly nosing their way into every aspect of our lives. In another ten years, they’ll be ubiquitous. Thus, creating experiences with game engines is one of the most valuable skill sets we can learn the coming years.
This is due in part to the convergence of all tech that’s begun to occur.
