Understanding Is a Spectrum

Understanding is not binary, yes or no, understood or not understood. Understanding exists on a spectrum with many shades of grey or degrees of understanding between the extremes. We can always understand at a deeper level when we approach a subject with intentionality and a commitment to keep learning. We must have mindfulness about our learning and take the time to go deep. We must learn one bit at a time, approaching obliquely instead of head on. This will help us deeply understand complex and simple concepts alike.
