I believe, I know, that all humans have superpowers. Perhaps this is why we have so many books, movies, shows, video games, and comic books about superheroes. We know deep down inside that we have superpowers too, and we’re looking for inspiration and, perhaps, an instruction manual. Unfortunately, we’re all like Ralph from The Greatest American Hero TV show in the 80s; it’s like we have a suit with magical powers, but we lost the manual, and now we don’t know how to fly or land or do much of anything else super. But unlike Ralph, most of us only stare at the sky longingly instead of trying to learn. But we don’t have to yearn and pretend, we never did. We can do so much. We can fly! Here’s why I know this.
Genetics
First, we evolved as elite athletes, surviving off our wits, physical abilities, and connections with others, all in the outdoors. No, not elite athletes. Something far beyond elite athletes. We ran fast and far. We swam and climbed and jumped. We walked all day. We had no chairs or sofas. We ate raw, natural foods. We drank mineral-rich waters from lakes, streams, and rivers. We healed ourselves with our hyper-attuned immune systems, our minds, and medicinal plants. We consumed no pollutants, toxins, or drugs. We were powerful. We were alive! And now some of us are beginning to remember how to do this and even go far beyond what we ever have before.
This is our past and our history. This is our ancestry and our genes. This is a rapid expansion of our bodies’ abilities and awareness.
Science and Technology
Second, an ever-deepening understanding of the science of our bodies and minds combined with the rapid development of new technologies will exponentially increase our physical and mental abilities into a different kind of superpower. Our smartphones are a superpower. The internet is a superpower. Modern medicines are a superpower. Our growing understanding of biochemistry, body mechanics, nutrition, and movement is a superpower. But we’ve only scratched the surface.
We will cure cancer, heart disease, and many other diseases in the coming decades. We will invent nanobots that live in our bloodstream and keep us healthy. We will build brain-computer interfaces that allow us to tap directly into the computing power of the entire internet and infinitely expand the power and speed of our consciousness. We will create the Mirrorworld and experience it directly with our own senses. We will create 3D printers that can print anything nearly instantly down to molecular detail. We will invent teleportation that beams us to other planets and stars instantly. We will do all this and more. Some of this technology already exists. As William Gibson has said (in various incantations), “The future has already here. It’s just not evenly distributed yet.“
All of these realities are coming in the next 50-100 years, perhaps 200 years at the longest. Fortunately, we will live long enough to benefit from it. Not just a few of us, but most of us. Not just some humans born in the far future, but literally us, you and me and other people alive today. As Ray Kurzweil argues, if we can live another 20 years, we’ll likely live another 50, and if we live another 50, we’ll live another 100, and if we live another 100, humanity will have defeated death and we will live effectively forever. We are on the cusp of immortality and nearly infinite power.
This is our future and our destiny. This is our privilege and our right. This is a rapid expansion of our minds’ abilities and awareness.
Spiritual Awakening
Third, we are infinitely powerful spiritual beings. We are luminous. We are creative. We are gods. We can manifest anything we choose. We are limited only by our thought. Most of the time we don’t believe this because most of the time we don’t see it. We don’t see it because few of us understand our true nature, our full power. Few of us see through the illusion of this world, of this physical reality. But some people have, and some people alive today do. How we get there is through awareness.
As we grow in our awareness, we grow in our abilities. We begin to see that we all truly are gods and goddesses, that we are a part of the infinite creative power of the universe, that we are one with each other and everything. We have the power of what some people call god because we are god. We are made of the same stuff. We collectively comprise god. We are that infinite awareness and awesome power, expressed in physical form. Most of us simply don’t consciously know it.
But we are awakening. We are realizing our potential. We are remembering who we really are. We are seeing the illusion and our complete power over it, because we created it, we continue to create it, and we change it in an instant if and when we choose.
Want to walk through walls? Great, increase your awareness until you see your power and see the illusion and then go walk through a wall. Want to create reality out of thin air? Great! Go do that. Want to see and know and understand everything? Great! Do that. Nothing is hidden from us. Nothing is outside of our ability.
This world, this universe, is us, and we can see it and change it all in a blink of an eye if we choose. We are doing this, and we will even more so, because our awareness is growing fast. Our awareness is accelerating, and the rate of acceleration is accelerating. Think of it this way… if awareness grows exponentially, and if we’ve been doubling our awareness for millennia, and if we’ve been halving our rate of doubling for millennia, and after all that we’re finally at 1% of total awareness, that could seem daunting, but it’s actually incredibly encouraging. We’re only a few decades away from reaching 100% awareness, not additional millennia. Only a few more doublings and we’re there. Total awareness, aka total enlightenment, is perhaps only years, months, or days away for some of us. Some of us are already there and are now working to help the rest of us to get there too.
This is our present potential and current path. This is our identity and our purpose. This is a rapid expansion of our spiritual abilities and awareness.
Our Capabilities
We can and will do all that and more. We have the genetics, science and technology, and increasing awareness. We’re also beginning to understand that this is the game we’re playing, and now we have a desire to play the game consciously. We are now evolving consciously and rapidly. We can now go far beyond what we were before, far beyond what we dream of in our wildest imaginings.
We can live hundreds or thousands of years or more. We can run across continents. We can swim across oceans. We can lift boulders. We can climb mountains. We can leap over buildings. We can levitate and fly. We can move objects with our minds. We can create reality out of thin air. We can stop time. We can see the future, the past, and the far side of the world. We can communicate telepathically. We can heal ourselves and others instantly. We can learn at the speed of thought, know everything, and think like geniuses. We can travel the universe. We can communicate with and travel to other dimensions.
Nothing is outside of us. This is the future we are heading into. Not just the human race. I mean each and every one of us in our current bodies and incarnations. We, you and me, will live to see this all come true.
The Long Lost Instruction Manual
That’s what this blog is about. I write about how we can all be superheroes. This blog is our long-lost superpower instruction manual. I don’t know how to do it all yet either, at least I don’t consciously know, but we’re all figuring it out together. I write to share what I learn and discover and remember, bit by bit, day by day.
I write about science and technology. I write about health, fitness, nutrition, movement, and longevity. I write about philosophical and spiritual musings. I write about random and surprising topics. I write fictional stories that help wake us up, see more, and tell new stories about human potential.
